Yesterday, I participated in the "oidashi-conpa" of AIESEC which is held every year. It is like a farewell party for the AIESEC members who are going to graduate. Oidashi means "to kick out" and conpa means party. A lot of university organizations have oidashi-compa at this time of the year to "kick out" the members who are going to graduate.
I still have to spend one extra year in school because I spent some time outside of univesity going on a study abroad program and an internship in India. But most of the people who joined AIESEC together with me in 2002 will be graduating this month.
So I went to the oidashi-conpa to say congratulations for all my AIESEC friends who will all start working soon. Actually, I was also supposed to be "kicked out" as well even though I would be around for another year. But I don't think I would be active in AIESEC anymore so it makes sense.
We all drank a lot and chatted all throughout the night till morning...
It was a good chance to see my good old friends and enjoy chatting together. I really felt sad that people whom I have been really great friends with won't be students anymore. I know that I can meet them even after they graduate, but most of them will become busy and we won't be able to hang out as much as we could before.
