Sorry for not updating, been a bit busy doing lots of things... and I'm finally writing in English!
Just some updates on what I was doing in the past month, so my gaijin friends can finally get a hold of my usual life in Japan, hehehe.
I set up 3 main goals in my past entry.
1. Get a part time job and earn money
2. Decide on a topic to write for my dissertation
3. Excercise regularly (especially b-ball)
Result: I think I have accomplished all of them in June, hurray.
First, I've gotten into a regular schedule of having two part-time jobs; one as a english teacher at a private highschool, and another as a waiter and bartender at a bar in Marunouchi.
I just started the latter job and although there are so many menu items I have to memorize, I think I'm starting to enjoy it. By the time I get the hang of this job, I will know a lot about whiskey...
Second, I finally came up with a topic to write on for my dissertation!!! I went to ask for advice from two professors and I decided to write about emissions trading. I won't discuss much into this since I really don't have that much of a concrete idea about the content as of now (I haven't done that much research....arrghhh).
Third, I have really started going to the gym regularly and also I play basketball often with my friends now at Takadanobaba where there is a sports center with a b-ball court open to the public (which is very rare in Japan). I'm on my way to building up my muscles before I start hanging out in the beach in the summer, haha.
Oh, and one more extra thing I've done actively in June; travelling! I've been to Choshi (a port city in Chiba), Nagano, and Osaka just during this month. The seafood I had in Choshi was awesome, I drank the most out of the 11 members on the two-day trip to Nagano (Karuizawa), and I got to enjoy sightseeing in Osaka for the first time.
Enjoy the pics below..

My next goals for July are:
-Survive exam and paper submitting for end of semester
-Decide what to do for summer vacation
There are so many things I wanna do!!! Time just isn't enough...
